Kate & Pete formed HERE in 2024 to enable real estate owners and investors to leverage their extensive experience in the acquisition, reinvention and operation of existing commercial real estate having held senior roles within commercial property owner, developer and operator, Bruntwood over a combined 40 years.
A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, Kate developed a focus on corporate finance, funding, acquisition and disposal structuring, tax and overall financial performance through her 12 years within Bruntwood and Bruntwood SciTech. Initially Head of Tax & Treasury for the Bruntwood Group, Kate held the roles of Finance Director and finally CEO of the Bruntwood SciTech JV with Legal & General which gave her additional oversight of overall corporate and growth strategies, branding, business support and innovation ecosystem development.
A Chartered Surveyor, Pete has developed extensive experience across a range of property related areas including asset management, development, leasing, construction, risk, facilities management and operation. His main passion lies in the acquisition and reinvention of existing commercial real estate in order to deliver value add, innovative solutions with a focus on operational excellence and customer experience. The acquisition of Alderley Park saw Pete develop an unrivalled expertise in the development and operation of life science real estate. Pete became President of the British Council for Offices (“BCO”) in July 2024. Through his role with the BCO Pete seeks to promote excellence and best practice in the design, development and operation of offices and workspaces across the UK.
